 I have heard good things about Ben Forta, so I picked up this book to read.
Man, this book is REALLY good! If you are a beginner to databases, and would like to
strengthen your SQL skills, don't go without this book.
The book teaches you the standard SQL which can be used across
many database platforms. The author also gives generous tips throughout the book
especially when some SQL construct differs in any particular database.
It is definitely not an in-depth book, but still makes a good
handy reference. If you are just starting to learn SQL, I highly recommend this book.
