Wrox Professional Developer Conference
The Wrox ASP Professional Web Developer Conference is more than a
mere Conference.
Focused on the latest technologies used in the developemnt of
truly dynamic distributed applications, whether over the Internet or an Intranet, it is a
tutorial for those that seek to hone their development skills by increasing their
knowledge.
The event is organised in three tracks, each concentrating on a
particular aspect of web application development: track one looks at the use of
Components, a subject which underlies the true power of server side scripting, it then
takes a glance into the future by moving onto lectures on the Extensible Markup Language
(XML), and how it might shape the future of web programming; track two concentrates on
Data and Data Access, looking in depth at the techniques that allow a programmer to
develop truly dynamic application with powerful back end products; finally track three is
a medley of subjects focusing on the development of n-tier applications of which web sites
are but the tip of the iceberg. Through this organisation, the ASP Professional Web
Developer Conference is a one stop shop for in depth information.
Our Speakers are a mixture of authors, Microsoft solution
providers, Microsoft Employees, that all have one thing in common: they are all
programmers. As such, they are taking the time to share their knowledge, share their code,
and talk about how they did it, creating an atmosphere of discussion and exchange of
ideas. Thus this is as much a forum as a conference.
